We're not self-funding yet. Money, things and time all keep the library going.
Donate money
Your donation buys second-hand kit and keeps the doors open. Payments are handled securely by Stripe.
Donate things
We welcome tools and kit that are in good working order and that you no longer use. Every item is checked and tested before it's lent out.
Bring it in when we're open, or email info@libraryofstuff.co.uk first if it's large.
On the wanted list
- Electric folding bikes
- Digital SLR with a wildlife lens
- 10–15 tonne bench press (small, bench-top)
- Log splitter, hydraulic or electric
- Block paving cutter
Give your time
Volunteers earn membership credit, so you can borrow for free while you volunteer.
- Listing items on the online catalogue (can be done at home)
- Servicing, repairing and sharpening tools (can be done at home)
- Helping at events to tell people about the library
- Front of house: welcoming members and handing out items
